About me

Meet Womble. He’s a 6 year old British Shorthair and is a very handsome boy with beautiful markings. Womble is very sociable and currently enjoying being with one of our home foster team. He loves attention, although likes this to be on his own terms. He isn’t a lap cat, but he does like to sit next to you for some fuss. He adores his food a little too much and his new owner would need to be prepared to continue to help gradually reduce his weight by carefully managing his diet. Womble can be very territorial with other cats and would be happiest being the only pet in the home. He can startle at sudden noises, so would be best suited to a calm home with experienced adults and as he is very sociable, he would like his new owners to have plenty of time to spend with him, rather than be home alone for much of the time. Womble has previously enjoyed outdoor access. Once settled in your home, it would be very important for him to exercise and burn off his excess energy by exploring your garden in a safe, low traffic area.
