About me

Nala is a beautiful cat looking for a special owner. Nala is in a foster home as she found life at the Centre difficult, as she was scared. In Foster she is gradually settling in, she is starting to explore the home, but she is wary of people and tends to keep her distance – giving a hiss if she feels someone is too close to her. She does however enjoys play with rod toys and her Fosterer plays with her several times a day – she loves this and chases, jumps and rolls around – so this is a great way of developing a relationship with her.

Nala is an independent cat who may want touch on her terms in the future, as she did in her previous home, but she isn’t currently wanting this type of interaction. She needs a patient owner in a quiet adult only home, she needs room for her to have her own space within the home and owners need to accept that it will take time for Nala to trust them and feel safe in her new environment.

Nala previously lived as an indoor cat and loved to sit watching the world out of the window. She is now looking for a home with a safe outside space that in time, once she is settled, she could have the option of exploring – if she wanted to. She will need a tray down in the home for the rest of her life – as this is what she is used to. She is looking for a home as an only pet.
